Les livres et moi

you are a drawer that preserve mind’s eye

through you i experienced existences

in form of happiness, heart-break, sorrow, laugh, melancholy

you have been a good company and still are

i’m delighted that you poured me stories

changing my unhappy feelings into the opposites of blues

it’s magic that you talked to me

not with your voices but theirs

you have lent me lives so i don’t need to stop mine

won’t let insanity to ignite me

so brave yet you’re just pages of words; a bucketful words

of lives, loves, lies, courage, anger, truth; anything worth as tale

Writing 201: Poetry, Day 8. Drawer, Ode, Apostrophe
