Its impossible to like everyone. There must be someone or some people whom we dislike. That one or that people, we don’t really hate them but it can not be help that we feel uncomfortable around them.
And suddenly, that one or that people, passed away.
You’re speechless. Regret haunted you. Told you that you should be kind to them on their last days. But who are we to know the mystery of the death?
Upon hearing the news of that one’s death, you hardly cry because you’re shocked. That instant, you feel horrible.
But it just takes few minutes. Because the time you see that one’s rigid body becoming corpse, you melted. Your tears melted. You see the death so close you can not helped but feel sad (for that one and for yourself! You feel lucky because its not your time yet but at the same time you pity yourself!). Feel loss and griefing.
And then you feel relieved.
Deep down you pray for that one (and feel remorse at yourself!). May God give that one mercy and accept that one’s beside Him gently.
Allahummaghfirlahaa warhamhaa wa’afihi wa’fu’anhaa wa akrim nuzulahaa..
‘O Allaah, forgive and have mercy upon her, excuse her and pardon her, and make honorable her reception.’
Allahummaghfir li hayyinaa wa mayyitinaa wa syahidinaa wa ghoibinaa wa shogirinaa wa kabiirinaa, Wa dzakarinaa wa untsanaa. Allahumma man ahyaytahaa minnaa fa ahyihi ‘alal Islam, wa man tawaffaytahaa minnaa fatawwafahaa ‘alal iimaan. Allahumma laa tahrimnaa ajrohaa wa laa tudhillanaa ba’dahaa.
‘O Allaah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allaah, whom amongst us You keep alive, then let such a life be upon Islaam, and whom amongst us You take unto Yourself, then let such a death be upon faith. O Allaah, do not deprive us of her reward and do not let us stray after her’.
